Tridako's PowerCube APU offers NEW Service Hatch Option!
Tridako Energy Systems, Inc., manufacturer of the PowerCube stand-alone auxiliary power unit gen-set for class 8 trucks introduces a service hatch option for their quality built units.
ALLIANCE, NE, August 20, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tridako Energy Systems designed the Service Hatch option for the APU units in response to their fleet customers and the easy-open hatch provides quick access to check the oil and coolant levels. Routine maintenance is the best way to ensure a long service life for both truck and APU and Tridako is committed to providing serviceability and long term performance in all its products. The service hatch option enhances the APU units for long term value for Owner Operators and fleets looking to support driver health and safety inside large cab environments while reducing fuel costs and emissions.
The PowerCube APU was designed for heavy service and meets EPA engine specifications through 2012. With 24,000 BTU cooling and 30,000 BTU heating, high-performance blowers quickly sustain comfortable cab space temperatures, using .4 gal of fuel/hr fully loaded. The main engine compartment houses the condenser/radiator unit. The Saddle Mount tube frame chassis assures road durability, belt security and alignment. The PowerCube has four removable case panels and mounts directly to the truck's frame rail. Drivers will notice the difference in BTU output, plus the remote condenser has been eliminated and the unit uses just one fan. In SAE lab test, the data show heat output from the louvers of the PowerCube evaporator unit at 118 degrees, with below freezing temps outside. When the dual 600 CFM blowers in the bunk unit recirculate the heated air, or the cool air over the evaporator coils, it reaches the desired temps quickly. Two separate models are available: the HC6000 with a Kubota engine and the HC5100 powered by CAT.
Tridako Energy Systems is committed to keeping close contact with our customers starting at point of purchase through ease of serviceability and long term performance of your PowerCube APU. The PowerCube APU meets SAE J-1503 automotive performance standards, with documented BTU production rates at 24,000 BTU/hr cooling and 30,000 BTU/hr heating. In addition, the optional Service Hatch insures quick access for maintenance of the unit. More information is available on our website, www.tridako.com.
